Hello Daisy!

Good morning,

It's back to earth with a bump this week and the boring routine of a full week of work after the Christmas holidays...boohoo, not a happy bunny!

I was sorting through my digi images over the Christmas holidays, moving them into files to make them easier to find, when I came across my Little Miss Muffet Stamps digis and was completely inspired to make a card with this adorable Polka Dot Pals 'Daisy' image.

It feels like such a long time since I coloured anything in and it's not often I say this...but I really enjoyed colouring this little cutie...I think she's adorable!

I cut the frame around the image by using the big square die from my Die-namics Blueprints set 3, after intially thinking I would cut it by hand using a metal ruler and scalpel...thank goodness for metal dies!

I'm entering my card into the following challenges...
A Gem of A Challenge #135..Something New (Enamel Dots) ends 16/1/15
Sweet Stampin'...New (Enamel Dots) ends 10/1/15
I ♥ Promarkers #250...Anything Goes ends 6/1/15

Little Miss Muffet #82...Anything Goes

Morning, I hope you've all had a good week so far. The weather has been bitterly cold here the last couple of days and we even had a bit of sleet yesterday afternoon when I was driving home from work.

I'm sad to announce today, that this is my last creation for Little Miss Muffet Stamps. I've been on Barbara's design team for the last 12 months and I can honestly say it's been one of the friendliest, funniest design teams I've ever worked on.

It was a really difficult decision deciding to stand down, but the timing feels right for me just now and I want to thank all the Little Misses for having me on the team and for making the last year so enjoyable. You girls totally rock!

So...news of this weeks challenge which is an ANYTHING GOES theme and it would be great if you could come over and join in the fun. You can find all the details of the challenge here on the LMMS blog and you can also check out some inspirational makes from the Little Misses.

Polka Dot Pals Faye...A Birthday Suprise

Good morning everyone,

My lovely blogging buddy and good friend Faye is celebrating her birthday today and for anyone who knows Faye or follows her blog will know that she is a bit of a glitter monster!

Barbara at Little Miss Muffet Stamps wanted to organise a secret birthday surprise for Faye as she works incredibly hard behind the scenes organising all the DT details for the Little Misses and she has created this super cute little image called Polka Dot Pals Faye...she is spraying glitter absolutely everywhere! Yep it's definitely a great likeness for Faye!

*** HaPpY BiRtHdAy FaYe ***

Surprise, surprise...bet you can't believe we all kept this one a secret from you lol!  Hope you have a wonderful day with lots of treats!

I do have to confess to having a bit of a nightmare with the stickles glitter on this card...for some reason when I applied it to the image it caused the printer ink to bleed. It was the last thing I added to the card and I was really disappointed as I couldn't undo the damage and unfortunately didn't have time to make another card.

Little Miss Muffet...What a Fuss Challenge & New Releases

Good morning, hope you're all OK and that any poorlies out there with winter bugs and germs are on the mend soon!

It only seems 5 minutes ago that I was telling you all about the new sketch challenge over at Little Miss Muffet however it's actually 2 weeks that have passed by and I'm back to tell you about our...errrmmm...well, new challenge!

The theme is WHAT A FUSS which loosely translated means we want you to cut around your image (otherwise known as a fussy cut) before adding it to your card/project. I've done this with quite a few images recently and find it really therapeutic cutting out.  It takes me back to my early days of crafting when I used a lot of decoupage on my cards!

Anyhoo...I'm waffling...we also have some gorgeous new releases to share with you today. I've used this cute lil beauty called Tarragon and you can check out all the other new releases here in the LMM store.

Little Miss Muffet...Inspiration Post

Good morning all, I can't believe it's Thursday already, this week seems to have zoomed by but all is good as it means the weekend is in sight. That's got to be worth a woohoo!!!

We have an inspiration post for you today over at Little Miss Muffet and you can check out all the makes from the Little Misses over on the LMM challenge blog here.

My card is a bit of bit of a hybrid...I've used a digital frame from LMMS (a png file) and I laid a design paper behind the frame just to add a little bit of interest.

The stripey ribbon and bows are also a digital image (from Bella Gypsy)and then I laid my image over the top (Van Family Sister LMMS), printed it a second time, coloured her in and mounted her on some dimension pads for a bit of depth. Simples!!

We don't have any new releases for you today over at Little Miss Muffet, but we do have a inspirational post where the Little Misses have taken an image that has inspired them and I chose this rather gorgeous Front Door rubber stamp which for me symbolises Christmas perfectly.

This stamp is just over 4" in height and although I've used it as the focal image on my card, you could use it as a background stamp and mask it up and place some Christmas characters in front of it.
