Cupcake Craft Challenge 218...Sketch

Did you know it's only 43 sleeps until Christmas? I'm well underway with my pressie shopping but still have quite a bit to get. The Christmas cards are coming along nicely too...does this mean I'm going to be mega organised this year? Errrrrm probs not coz there's always something I forget!

It's Cupcake Monday today and it's my turn to choose the theme so I've gone with a sketch. I've tried to keep it fairly simple as I know everyone is so busy at this time of year and I hope you will feel inspired to make something with it. The Cupcakes have made some super-de-duper projects this week and you can check them all out over on the challenge blog.

Here's my sketch....

We are sponsored by Some Odd Girl this week and they're prize is 3 digi images (winners choice)

70th Birthday Card

Hey de ho campers...hope you're all having a good week so far and that the weather is being kind to you...it's pretty warm here the last few days although there is a bit of a nip in the air in the mornings.

My friend asked me if I could make a 70th birthday card for a family friend...she wanted something quite flowery which isn't really my style but I remembered these papers hidden in my stash and I'd downloaded this digital image a while ago but hadn't used it. My colouring could have been much better but there was alot going on in this image and it took ages to colour by which time I was bored and my mind was elsewhere lol!

Digital Image: Designed 2 Delight (Precious Gift)
Design Papers: Echo Park (Country Drive)
Colouring Medium: Promarkers
Card Stock: Stampin' Up (Rose Red)
Embellishments: Ribbon and Gems from my Craft Stash!
Tools: Embossing Folder & MS Border Punch
Sentiment: 'Happy Birthday' was created on the computer and the numbers were stamped after being coloured with Promarkers.
