Florence...1st Birthday Card

Good morning,

Brrr...its very chilly here today even though the sun is shining. We had a very hectic few days last week preparing for a mini break to visit family in Scotland. We had a wonderful few days even though it was extremely cold. We arrived home to no heating or hot water last night but thankfully hubby managed to sort it out and we're defrosting now.

I haven't managed to visit any blogs over the last week or so but I hope to rectify that over the next couple of days.

I made this card recently for a little girl who is celebrating her 1st birthday...I couldn't resist using a bit of gingham with one of these adorable pre-coloured images from Lily of the Valley.

Sweet Peas

Good afternoon,

We have typical wet and rainy bank holiday weather here today which means it will be an indoor kind of day catching up on the ironing and maybe a bit of crafting later if I feel like it!

What better way to brighten up a dull day than with a really pretty bouquet of colourful Sweet Peas!  Love these pre-coloured images from LOTV, they're so quick and easy to use!

We've just returned from a short break in Paris. The weather was amazing apart from Thursday when it rained solidly all day, but it didn't ruin things for us as we took the opportunity to get in a bit of retail therapy down the Champs Elysees. Sophie was in her element and her eyes were on stalks when we paid a visit to the Louis Vuitton shop. We didn't buy anything but it was still a great experience to window shop and dream a little...big sigh!

Here are a few piccy's of our trip...
