Paper Pieced Birthday Card

Good morning everyone, hope you've all had a fab weekend in the sunshine...it was so hot here but great to spend some time relaxing in the garden even if it was under the gazebo!  Gotta love a hammock in this weather!

I'm sharing a card today that was made for Sophie's friend Olivia for her 13th birthday. Liv not only loves horses but she also enjoys photography and when I came across this image recently I knew it would be perfect for her. I opted for a bit of paper piecing on her top and trousers to co-ordinate with my design papers.

Normally I'd be sharing a card with you for Cupcake today but we are running fortnightly challenges now until the beginning of September, so that everyone gets to enjoy the holidays. The current challenge Anything But Square ends on Sunday 14th July 2013 and a new challenge will be announced on 15th which will run for 2 weeks!

Morning all...Monday again, boohoo! I really wish weekends were longer even if only by a day, I would get so much more done!

Who said Monday could come around so quickly? I didn't get as much crafting done this weekend as I wanted to. I basically spent more time trawling through and looking at my digi images and papers than I actually spent crafting...not good! I have so many ideas but not enough time to put them into action and by the time I do get to play I've forgotten all of my ideas...I really think I need an A4 sized notebook to write everything down!

The only thing that cheers me up today is that it's a fab new challenge over at Cupcake! Our lovely cupcake Mummy Fluff has chosen this weeks challenge which is a colour theme...YELLOW & GREY. Good morning me lovelies from a snow covered Hertfordshire. It snowed all day yesterday which makes for good fun, driving in to work today!  Stay safe and wrap up warm if you are travelling anywhere.

Good morning you lovely lot, it's the start of a proper full week at work after the Christmas holidays and I think most of the schools are going back today too...there'll be a few grumpy children around because of the early start...mine included lol!
