Thinking of You

Hello,

Now we're officially in autumn, I can let out a huge yipppppeeeeeeee!!!!

I'm not a lover of the hot, humid, summer days and its so nice to have the darker evenings so that I can close the curtains and snuggle up in front of the TV with a hot cuppa.

Today's card is one that I made for my SIL and BIL. My BIL was involved in a horrendous motorbike accident in Spain as a result of suffering from a Haemorrhagic stroke whilst at the controls of his motorbike and I wanted to send them both a card to let them know they were in our thoughts. You'll have to excuse the picture quality, I just couldn't get a decent photograph no matter how hard I tried!

Birthday Cake!

Morning all,

Hope you're having a good week so far. It's been pretty chilly here but sadly we've not had any snow yet, so no chance for handbrake doughnuts in the snow. I'm hopeful we'll get some next time round if we're lucky!

I spotted this scrummy cake digi over at the DigiStamp Boutique and just had to have it for a birthday card I needed to make for this week. I've used Promarkers to colour and thought I'd make a step card, with the die I bought last year, but haven't used nearly as often I should.

Now if only I had a cake like this to eat now...I'd be a very happy bunny!

Today's card is for A Gem of a Challenge and our lovely Jenny has chosen the theme which is KRAFT AT CHRISTMAS! I really struggled with this one as I just don't do Christmas in July, August, September or any other month that doesn't start with 'D' lol! There's some fab inspiration over on the challenge blog so pop over for a peek if you have a spare 5 mins.

18th Birthday Fairy

Hey de ho, hope you're all OK and the week has been good to you so far...I've definitely got water logged wellies and web feet and the poor garden looks battered with all the rain...at least the grass is green lol!

James' girlfriend celebrated her 18th birthday yesterday (Happy Birthday Codie) and this is his card to her. The only brief was that it had to have a fairy on it and he also chose these rather cute patchwork papers. There's loads of stickles on the card but due to the bad lighting (courtesy of the weather) it doesn't really show very well.
