Good morning,

I must start with an apology for not posting on my blog since the beginning of December. Work is always extremely busy for me around this time of year and what with all the Christmas preparations too, crafting is normally last on my list of things to be done.

I am however here today, to tell you about our month long MEGA CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE over at Passion for Promarkers and the theme is *** LET'S CELEBRATE ***

The challenge started on 8th December 2015 and runs until the 5th January 2016 and although you are more than welcome to make Christmas cards, you can of course make any type of creation as long as you follow the theme.

We really look forward to seeing your entries for this challenge but please remember, to be in with a chance of winning you need to follow the challenge theme and use Letraset markers (i.e. pro, flex, tria, aqua, metallic or neon) somewhere on your work!

We’re going CLEAN AND SIMPLE which means we’re looking for lots of white space with minimal layers and embellies.

We have two amazing sponsors this week…Bugaboo and Letraset

It's Your Birthday Pig Out!

Good morning everyone,

The card I'm sharing today was James' and Sophie's birthday card to hubby, however I've only just got round to uploading it to my blog. I couldn't resist this fab 'Pig Out' image designed by From the Heart Stamps, its such a comical image and the sentiment was perfect!

I have a little question to ask about my blog signature.  Does anyone know where I can purchase a new customised signature? The one below was designed by Raindrop Echo Designs and I don't know if its a problem with her host website or what but the signature shows up in IE and Google Chrome but not Firefox. I need a new one pronto as the white box is driving me nuts! My OCD is telling me to just get a new one! Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

A Birthday Brew

Morning all...happy Bank Holiday Monday to you all, although the weather here isn't that great and it looks like we will have rain showers on and off all day! We're off out shortly to look at new flooring for the bathroom and we hope to take advantage of some bank holiday discounts if we can!

It was my hubby's birthday last weekend and this is the card I made for him using my new Cheery Lynn Step Card Die!

Those of you who visit my blog regularly will know I recently learnt how to make step cards and its true to say I have become a bit addicted to them.

Creating the blank template was easy with the instructions that my crafty buddy Sue gave me but working full time often leaves me little time for crafting, so to make life easier, I treated myself to this die and oh my word...so quick to create and the die cuts beautifully!

I purchased direct from Cheery Lynn Designs in the USA and the cost including shipping worked out at about £27.00. Shipping was really fast too and I had the die within a week! I'm such a happy bunny now!

I'm entering my card into this weeks From The Heart Stamps Challenge #68...Card Sketches with a Twist (I've gone for the twist which is to use a sentiment) ends 01/06/14

Brother Birthday Card

Morning me lovelies, this is a virtual me here with a scheduled card that I made recently for James' birthday. This was Sophie's brother card to James and I can't believe I'm so far behind and haven't posted it yet...his birthday was nearly 3 weeks ago!

I've used another one of these fab Birdbrain images designed by From the Heart and I have to say I love these comical images.  They are such a refreshing change from all the cutesie images and even better still most of them come with sentiments included!

I paper pieced the playing cards to coordinate with the design papers and I have to say James absolutely loved this card...it's still up on the mantel piece!

James' Birthday Card

Crikey, it's the 1st May already...where on earth did April go?

We seem to have had so much going on recently and boy am I looking forward to the bank holiday weekend and the additional day off work. I hope we get some nice sunny weather so that we can get out in the garden and maybe catch some rays! Probably only in my dreams!

Today I'm sharing the card I made for James' birthday last weekend...I spotted these Bird Brain images over on Jo's blog and was so taken with them I had to nip over to From the Heart and purchase a few. My boy does like a bottle of cider (or two) so this image was perfect for him...thank you Jo for the inspiration!
