Baby Shower Card

Hooray, it's the weekend and I'm in the mood to start making an impact on my christmas cards this year. I've decided I'm bulk making one design like I did last year...it's much easier and definitely less stressful.

I'm sharing a baby shower card with you today that one of my work colleagues asked me to make. I normally go for pastels/ginghams/spots but thought I'd try a bolder design. For once I'm quite pleased with the outcome and that doesn;t happen very often...I normally hate my cards lol!

I'm entering my card into the following challenge
Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge #101...Lots of Layers (ends 13/11/12)
Mo's Challenge Blog #160...'C' is for 'Contractions' or 'Come on Baby' (ends 14/11/12)

CES Challenge 54...Embellish Me More

Hi-de-hi bloggers…I’ve woken up in really good mood today and I feel like doing something fun...I’ll have to see what hubby and the kids are doing but hopefully we can all agree to do something together! My lil Sophie Doodles has found her independence since starting secondary school and at the moment she wants to be out with her friends all the time...me thinks I’m a bit redundant now...hmmm...lots more time for crafting maybe!

Soooo it’s Saturday and that means a fab new challenge at CES Challenges…my lovely teamie Claire has chosen this week’s theme which is…EMBELLISH ME MORE…we want you to use at least 4 DIFFERENT EMBELLISHMENTS on your cards…please don’t just use 4 embellies…there must be at least 4 different types!

This is a fab opportunity to dig deep into your crafting stash and find all your scrummy embellies…I’ve used, flowers… pearls…gems and a button on my card and if you need inspiration for this theme you can pop over to the CES challenge blog and see all the gorgeous creations from the DT!

The winner of this week’s challenge will win a brilliant £10 gift certificate to spend in Crafty Emma’s Store…Emma has a huge selection of lush crafting goodies to choose from and I can guarantee you will be spoilt for choice and spend much more than a tenner!
