Sophie 16th Birthday...Jiggles the Giraffe

Good morning,

OK! So not only is Sophie shoe mad, she also loves giraffes and can't get enough of them if ever we get the opportunity to visit the zoo.

I spent hours trawling the internet for a digital image and finally found this adorable little image from Doodle Pantry...he's called Jiggles. I opted to create a little scene and cased this card that I found on Pinterest...I love that there's so much inspiration on the net, especially when your craft mojo isn't really on the ball.

Passion for Promarkers #325...Christmas Tree

Good morning,

It's time to share new challenge details for Passion for Promarkers

My gorgeous and inspirational teamie Lorraine B has chosen the theme this week which is
CHRISTMAS TREE

Now, I have to admit this is my first Christmas card of the year (shameful I know) and one of only three personalised cards that I'll be making...the rest will be batch made and I've already got a bit of a production line going.

Over the years I've taken the view that crafting is supposed to be fun and relaxing but I've always felt pressure in producing so many individual handmade Christmas designs. For the last couple of years I make individual cards for hubby, James & Sophie and everyone else gets the same...simples!

this week we are sponsored by
http://adayfordaisies.com/stamps/
and they are offering a $12.00 voucher for their online store

Digital Image: Di's Digi Downloads (Daisies Christmas Tree)
Digital Design Papers: DigiStamp Boutique (Wintertime Sorbet - Small Snowflakes)
Colouring Medium: Promarkers & Smooth White Card
Card Stock: SU! (Crumb Cake)
Embellishments: Ribbon, Pearls and Stickles (Stardust) from my craft stash
Tools: Die-namics (Simply Scallops Medium), Memory Box (Modern Landscape Border)

Baby Girl Card

Hello everyone and happy Friday to you all!

It definitely seems to be baby season...I've been asked to make 3 baby cards recently and also a nappy cake (pics and details to be shared at a later date).

Here is the first card which is for baby Elodie who was born a couple of weeks ago.

I've recently discovered a digi company called Paper Creator (through my blogging buddy Jacee) and they do the sweetest kits that include pre-coloured images and matching design papers. i may have purchased more than a few of these kits but just need some more spare time to play with them. They print up beautifully and are great for really quick cards when there's no time for colouring!

I'm entering my card into this months Paper Creator Crafts Challenge...#39 Anything Goes (ends 30/6/15) ***Challenge Winner!***

Digital Image & Papers: Paper Creator (Pink Baby Bear)
Embellishments: Ribbon & Pearls from my craft stash
Tools: Memory Box Die (Baby Clothes), Circular Punch

Good morning,

Hope you're all OK and enjoying the current warm, sunny weather we're having here in the UK...always nice to have a good end to the summer...it will be cold soon enough and we'll all be yearning for spring again!  Hark at me, the voice of doom!

Talking of Spring..I made this card a while ago but forgot to blog it. I used my fav Cheery Lyn Step Card Die and also finally managed to break into one of my LOTV Art Pads that I've had for ages but have never used...slapped wrist for me...so many nice things and just not enough time to play with them!

Passion for Promarkers # 258...Weddings!

Good morning you lovely lot!

Have ya' missed me?
Nah, I thought not lol!

I've had a bit of a break from blogging over the last couple of weeks whilst my son's girlfriend came over and visited from the States.  We had a fantastic time whilst she was here and the house seems so empty now she has gone home.

She stayed with us for 10 days and we arranged lots of day trips out two of which were to London...if I remember, I'll upload some piccy's in a few days when I've taken them off the camera!

Anyhoo, we've got a new challenge today over at Passion for Promarkers and this weeks theme has been chosen by......meeeeeeee!

Seeing as its summer and lots of people choose to get married in the summer, I've gone for a theme of WEDDINGS.

We are sponsored by Polkadoodles and Angel Crafts and PD very kindly offered the design team some images to play with. I chose this adorable little bride & groom...they're too cute!

Don't forget...to be in with a chance of winning prizes from the above sponsors, you have to follow the challenge theme and ensure you use Letraset markers (i.e. pro, flex, tria, aqua, metallic or neon) somewhere on your work!

Wedding Card & Favours

Afternoon all,

I'm sharing a wedding card today that I recently made for one of my work colleagues...she got married on the 31st May but I've been real slow in posting the card on my blog.

I also made the wedding favours for Charlene and Danny and I've shown some piccy's below. I love that the colour theme of their wedding was Navy and White...such a beautiful, elegant combination of colours! The favours are based on the snowman soup I made at Christmas but with sweeties instead of hot chocolate...marshmallows, lovehearts and millions...yum yum!

Passion for Promarkers #247...No Sentiment

Good morning, hope you're all having a good week so far, its been pretty blustery and rainy here...not May weather really, more suited to April me thinks!

I'm here to share a card with you for our new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers today. The theme has been chosen by Lotta and it's NO SENTIMENT. Pretty straight forward, however I do have to confess, it did feel a bit weird not adding a sentiment when the card was made.

We are lucky enough to have two sponsors this week...

Letraset
who are offering a 6 pack of Flexmarkers to the winner and
Aurora Wings who are offering a $10 gift voucher to spend in their Etsy store.

I also want to thank Mitzi at Aurora Wings for offering the design team an image to play with...I chose this gorgeous little Sleepy Bunny Elf...too cute!

DigiStamp Boutique....Alf "Dad's Shed"

Afternoon me lovelies, hope you're having a good weekend so far...it's been lovely and sunny here today but I haven't been out yet as I've been taking advantage of the peace and quiet with everyone out, to do a bit of crafting.

I have to thank my lovely blogging buddy Sue over at Creations by Bearhouse for inspiring me to make a centre step card. I have seen some of these on Sue's blog and have always been quite envious that she knew how to make them. She very kindly sent me a template and hey presto...I've made my first step card...thank you Sue...you're a star!

I also totally 'borrowed' Sue's idea to use a flower border die along the bottom and also to colour in some of the flowers...a pretty cool idea which really made the die pop! I'll be giving this card to my Dad for Father's Day and I hope he'll like it!

We've a new challenge for you today over at Passion for Promarkers and the challenge theme has been chosen by me!

At this time of year our thoughts always turn to our lovely family members so I have chosen a FAMILY theme. All we want to see is a card for a family member and it doesn't necessarily have to be a christmas card. It could be a birthday or even an anniversary card...so many possibilities for this one.

As always you must use Promarkers on your creation to be in with a chance to win this weeks prize sponsored by Michele R Designs and you could win $10 worth of free digi papers!
