Good luck to all those returning to school today, can't believe the summer holidays are over already. Sophie will be going into 6th form today...she achieved some amazing results in her GCSE's and she'll be studying A Level French, Geography and Politics over the next 2 years!

Today's card is one that I made a couple of weeks ago and I've only just realised that I forgot to post it. Purple was the colour theme for the wedding so I made my card to match!

Daughter Birthday Card

Good morning to you all,

It was my daughters 15th birthday a couple of weeks ago and this was the card I made for her from me and my hubby. Sshe's absolutely shoe mad and this image from the DigiStamp Boutique was just perfect for her.

I part coloured and part paper-pieced the image, the wording was created on the computer. I love that digital images are so versatile and you can basically prep a topper on the computer and print...I guess some may call it cheating though lol!

Passion for Promarkers #283...To Someone I Love

Good morning,

Huge apologies for my blogging absence over the last few weeks...due to various issues at work I have been working full time hours, plus additional overtime which has left little time for anything else.

This last weekend I felt physically and mentally exhausted and spent most of the weekend sleeping. I'm hoping to revert to my usual hours sometime in the next of couple weeks and I can't get wait to get back to some kind of normality!

Anyhoo...I'm here to tell you about this weeks Passion for Promarkers challenge which has been chosen by my lovely teamie Lotta and as it's Valentine's this week she has chosen a theme of...TO SOMEONE I LOVE

All you need to do is make sure you follow the challenge theme and use Letraset markers (i.e. pro, flex, tria, aqua, metallic or neon) somewhere on your work!

This weeks sponsor is Sassy Studio Designs
http://www.buysassystudiodesigns.blogspot.co.uk/
and they are offering 4 free digital images to the winner (winners choice).

Sweet Little Gothic Girl

Hey-de-ho me lovelies,

Apologies for being so hit and miss with my blog recently...we seem to have had an endless stream of house guests staying with us (it's been a fab summer though, so not moaning) and what with fitting in work around the school holidays means there hasn't been much time for anything else. I do hope to remedy that soon though and get back into blogging on regular days!

Anyhoo, I'm sharing a card today that I made for Sophie's friend Liv, who turned 14 at the end of June and although it's a very clean and simple design, for once I feel that less is definitely more. I'm so pleased with the way the colours work on this card and the little goth girl is absolutely adorable.

I merged 2 digital images together for this card.  The little goth girl is a pre-coloured image from The Paper Shelter and the fence in the background is a pre-coloured image from Pink Gem Designs.  I have to say, that one of the things I absolutely love about working with digital images, is that they're so versatile and adaptable.

Digi Stamp Boutique...Birthday Ryley

Afternoon folks,

Hope you're having a good weekend so far and that you have had some of the sunshine we've had here today. I had quite a few errands to run this morning and it was so nice not getting saturated in between places!

I'm sharing a card I've made using one of this week's new releases from the Digi Stamp Boutique and it was this gorgeous little fella Birthday Ryley that caught my eye...he's so cute and has the sweetest little face!

I've kept the card fairly clean and simple and I have to confess that the buttons weren't intended to be part of the design, however when I inked the edges of the image the blimming ink pad dropped bits of sponge right where I then had to strategically place the buttons! I think I just about got away with it but I was pretty annoyed when it happened lol!

You can find all the new Sophia and Ryley images here in the boutique.

Little Miss Muffet Super Saturday - Freebie

Good morning everyone on this lovely sunny Saturday morning,

I think my stress levels have just about returned to normal...I was poised at the computer at 10am this morning to try and get One Direction tickets for Sophie and I'm pleased to say I was successful. She's so excited (even though its not until next June) and hasn't stopped smiling...bless!

Anyhoo, I'm here to tell you about SUPER SATURDAY over at Little Miss Muffet and this week's freebie is HANGING BAT. He will only be available in the store for a short time so make sure you pop over and grab him pronto! I replicated the image on my card three times and decided to keep my layout fairly CAS...I love a bit of orange and black for Halloween!

I made a booboo last week and posted my Clover Toadstool Dreams card a week early (I'm so blonde sometimes) and she is in the spotlight today which means she's available (as a rubber stamp) for 1 week only at a reduced price.

As always, there's plenty of inspiration from the Little Misses and don't forget our current challenge is running until 9th October, details can be found here
