92nd Birthday Card

Good morning,

Although I don't really make any new year resolutions, one thing I have promised myself is that I will try to post at least one card a week on my blog, so here goes...

I made this card for my husbands Aunty who recently turned 92! I opted for a pre-coloured image and this gorgeous Die'sire die I bought last year but have not used until now..shameful that it's been stuck in a drawer and not seen the light of day until now (I'm rolling my eyes).

Pre-coloured Image: Lily of The Valley Art Pad (Set 27 - Beautiful Blooms)
Design Papers: First Edition (Pretty Posy)
Embellishments: White satin ribbon and Stickles (Stardust) from my craft stash
Tools: Die'Sire Create a Card Die (Ornate Lattice), Nestabilities, Sizzix Die (Scalloped Circle)
Sentiment: Docrafts Papermania (All Occasion Glittered Sentiments)

21st Birthday

Happy Saturday!

We're off to a 92nd birthday bash this afternoon in Bedford, fingers crossed for a good journey and no traffic hold ups!

Today I'm sharing a 21st birthday card that I made for one of my work colleagues...oh to be 21 again.

Is this not the perfect thing to do on your birthday? Relaxing in a bath full of bubbles with an ice cold chilled Prosecco!

Digital Design Papers: Nitwit Collections (Romance & Roses)
Colouring Medium: Promarkers & Smooth White Card
Embellishments: Ribbon & Stickles (Stardust) from my craft stash

25th Anniversary Card

Good morning,

Weather here is a bit rubbish today, no sunshine and it looks like rain is on its way. I'm off out shopping soon with Sophie, so that should cheer us up a bit!

My friend asked me to make a 25th Anniversary card for her husband, she didn't want anything too fussy so I tried to keep it as simple as I could....she was absolutely delighted with the end result and I think the papers I chose worked really well on the overall design.

Digital Design Papers: DigiStamp Boutique (Pretty in Black - Black Heart Circles)
Card Stock: Silver Mirri Card and Smooth White Card
Embellishments: Ribbon from my craft stash
Tools: Nellie Snellen (Hearts & Swans Dies), Die-namics Die (By The Numbers), Cuttlebug Embossing Folder (Devine Swirls), Sizzix Circular Scalloped Dies, Circular Punch

*** Last Post of 2015 ***

Wow! How bad a blogger have I been throughout the month of December?

I literally feel like I have blinked and missed this last month, although it did momentarily slow down so that I could enjoy the Christmas celebrations, despite having a head cold and a chest infection.

Today, I wanted to pop in to share my last Christmas card of the year, which was a card I made for my hubby. I also want to say a massive thank you to my regular visitors for your continued support and for always leaving such encouraging comments on my creations.

I wish you and your family's all the best for the new year and I hope it will be a very crafty one for us all!

Last but not least...the piccy below is one, of a quick batch of Christmas cards I threw together just before the last posting date for Christmas. The cards are A6 in size and I purposely made them not too deep so they could be posted without having to go large on the stamps! I cased the design from a card I found on Pinterest and the original can be viewed here

18th Birthday Card

Good morning,

I hope everyone is well and that you are all looking forward to the weekend!

I'm sharing an 18th birthday card I made recently for a friend of my daughter's. I've attempted a card that doesn't have a digital image as I haven't felt much like colouring in with my Promarkers recently. It kind of turned out OK but all the white space is kind of freaking me out!

Embellishments: Ribbon, Button and Pearls from my craft stash
Tools: Circular Punch, Sizzix Circular Scalloped Die and Poppystamps (Simple Banner Die)

Wedding Anniversary Cards

Good morning,

I almost started off with an apology for my lack of blogging recently, but looking at my most recent posts I seem to start them all exactly the same way :( I honestly don't know where the time goes and feel a bit shell shocked that I'm posting during half-term, with the clocks having gone back an hour over the weekend...summer is officially over!

As I haven't made any cards recently I thought I'd share some anniversary cards I made a while ago but haven't had time to blog yet. I can't claim that I came up with the design though...I was inspired by a card I spotted on Debs blog (Especially For You) earlier this year and liked her design so much I 'borrowed' the idea for 40th, 50th & 60th Wedding Anniversary cards.

I really love this design, so thank you Debs for the inspiration.  I really hope you don't mind me 'casing' your original card design and I can't thank you enough for providing some much needed inspiration for these cards!

DigitalStamp Boutique...Weightlifter Alf & a Sad Goodbye

Good afternoon you lovely lot, welcome to the weekend!

It's very blustery here today but thankfully still sunny. Fingers crossed it remains calm when the tail end of Hurricane Bertha reaches us tomorrow and good luck to those of you who may live in flood warning areas...stay safe!

I'm feeling a bit sad today. After 7 years of being on the DigiStamp Boutique design team, I've made the tough decision to leave and have chosen scrummy Weightlifter Alf for my last card!

I've absolutely loved having the chance to play with so many of Sally-Ann's gorgeously cute images and I also want to take this opportunity to thank Sally-Ann for having enough confidence in my work to invite me on the team and for giving me the opportunity to work with some really fantastic team members over the years.

I've had an absolute blast but as they say...all good things have to come to end...wishing Sally-Ann and the team, all the best for the future.
