21st Birthday

Happy Saturday!

We're off to a 92nd birthday bash this afternoon in Bedford, fingers crossed for a good journey and no traffic hold ups!

Today I'm sharing a 21st birthday card that I made for one of my work colleagues...oh to be 21 again.

Is this not the perfect thing to do on your birthday? Relaxing in a bath full of bubbles with an ice cold chilled Prosecco!

3rd Birthday Card

Hello everyone,

By the time this has posted we will jet setting our way towards Paris for a weeks holiday...I'm more than ready for a break away from work and the normal trials and tribulations of everyday life. Fingers crossed we get some nice weather whilst we're there!

This is a 3rd birthday card I recently made using another pre-coloured image from LOTV. Apologies for the poor photo quality, I'm getting used to a new camera and still haven't quite worked out what settings work for me and which ones don't.

Passion for Promarkers #344...Nature

Good morning,

It's time to share new challenge details for Passion for Promarkers and this weeks theme is all about...
NATURE

My contribution to nature is this pretty little box of flowers...I love daisies as they remind me of my childhood, making daisy chains in the summer and then attempting to wear them as a necklace. Somehow I always managed to break mine though!

Apologies for the rubbish photo...my camera broke over the weekend and I had to snap this with my iphone...its not the best quality but needs must and all that. Also, just as a point of reference for myself really, this card is 8" x 8" and the scalloped card base came from Hunkydory.

We are sponsored by
http://www.letraset.com/
and the prize is a Letraset Rubber Stamping Set (Set 2)

We really look forward to seeing your entries for this challenge but please remember, to be in with a chance of winning you need to follow the challenge theme and use Letraset markers (i.e. pro, flex, tria, aqua, metallic or neon) somewhere on your work!

Printed Panel: Wild Rose Studio (Elsie)

Card Stock: SU! (Crumb Cake)

Golfing Dad (70)

Good morning everyone,

Brrrr, it's been really chilly here over the last few days and the weather forecast in the coming days doesn't look any better either. I think I need to finally give in and dig out my winter coat and stop wearing my Macintosh...its just not warm enough now.

I was asked to make a card for a work colleagues Dad, who recently turned 70...this fab image from Bugaboo immediately sprang to mind as he's so perfect for the occasion. I've kept the design fairly clean and simple and used my fav 'Summer Breeze' papers from Nitwit!

Thanks for stopping by today...I'm always so appreciative of any comments that are left for me, especailly during this busy time leading up to Christmas!

Good morning me lovelies,

I'm here to share a quick card with you today which has mainly been created using the Die-namics dies...Blueprints 3 set.

The design papers are one of my all time favourite sets from Nitwit Collections and I've added a few simple embellies just to pretty it up a bit...it looked a bit plain without the butterfly and pearls.

Hope you're all having a good week so far...just think a month from now and Christmas will be all but over...yikes!!!

DigiStamp Boutique...Lulabelle

Good morning everyone,

Hope you've all had a brilliant week...we have been basking in sunshine here the last couple of days but it seems rain may be forecast for today.

I also just wanted to wish my American friends and visitors a very happy 4th July weekend and I hope you had a wonderful day celebrating yesterday!

The Tour de France starts today...in Yorkshire!!! Woohoo absolutely fantastic and I'll be watching it on the TV in a couple of hours! Good luck to Froomey and Cav!

I was asked to make a baby shower card and I instantly knew I would use Lulabelle from the DigiStamp Boutique. She's gorgeously girly and a very yummy mummy-to-be. She's been coloured with Promarkers and I've used these pretty papers from Nitwit Collections.

On Your Way to Pastures New

Morning lovely peeps, hope you've all had a good week and that you've lots planned this weekend. I hope to do a spot of crafting but that will largely depend on whether the sun comes out to play or not...if it does, I'll be found outside in the garden!

I also just quickly wanted to thank all my regular visitors for the lovely comments you continue to leave on my cards...I don't say thank you enough, but just wanted you all to know that I always look forward to your words of encouragement and appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time to visit me!

PS: Welcome to my recent new followers too...so happy you chose to follow my little old blog!

My SIL asked me to make a retirement card for her friend but she didn't want the word retirement on it. After a great deal of thought, we opted for a 'Pastures New' theme. The lady in question wants to spend more time out in her garden and I thought Gardening Betty from the DigiStamp Boutique would be perfect. I've teamed her with these gorgeous flowery papers from Nitwit Collections and she has been coloured with Promarkers.

Passion for Promarkers #247...No Sentiment

Good morning, hope you're all having a good week so far, its been pretty blustery and rainy here...not May weather really, more suited to April me thinks!

I'm here to share a card with you for our new challenge over at Passion for Promarkers today. The theme has been chosen by Lotta and it's NO SENTIMENT. Pretty straight forward, however I do have to confess, it did feel a bit weird not adding a sentiment when the card was made.

We are lucky enough to have two sponsors this week...

Letraset
who are offering a 6 pack of Flexmarkers to the winner and
Aurora Wings who are offering a $10 gift voucher to spend in their Etsy store.

I also want to thank Mitzi at Aurora Wings for offering the design team an image to play with...I chose this gorgeous little Sleepy Bunny Elf...too cute!

MonoChrome B'day Card

Good morning lovely bloggers, hope you've all had a fab weekend...we had lots of rain showers yesterday but it was still fairly warm. Work for me today but no point moaning...gotta go and get on with it but will be looking forward to home time!

I'm sharing a card that I've made for my SIL's birthday (tomorrow), no worries about her seeing it here though as she doesn't follow my blog and doesn't use social media. I recently treated myself to the Die-namics Blueprints 3 set and followed one of the MFT sketches that I found on Google. I'm loving these dies and can see me making quite a few more quick cards like this one!
