Creative Inspirations #229...Fairies

Good morning me lovelies,

I'm here to tell you about today's new challenge over at Creative Inspirations and this week it's all about FAIRIES!  We're really looking forward to seeing lots of entries for this one and hopefully there will be lots of glitter and sparkle too...unfortunately my camera hasn't picked up the stickles too well but I added a glitter border around the image and also the sentiment.

Sadly this is my last DT card as part of the team. I've really enjoyed creating for the challenges over the last 6 months but I guess all good things have to come to an end and I feel that now is the time to move on. Good luck to Natalie and the girls for the future and thank you for having me.

Cupcake 226...Make a Scene

Good morning me lovelies from a snow covered Hertfordshire. It snowed all day yesterday which makes for good fun, driving in to work today!  Stay safe and wrap up warm if you are travelling anywhere.

I'm here to share a card for today's new challenge over at Cupcake. The theme has been chosen by little ole me and I wanted to try and stretch myself so thought I'd try and MAKE A SCENE.

I've merged two digital images together (one of them was pre-coloured) and added some clouds and grass to make it look a bit more realistic. I thoroughly enjoyed making this card which was for Sophie's friend who turned 13 a few days ago.

Cupcake Craft Challenge 151...Wish Upon a Star

Hey peeps, it's Monday already and I hope you all had a good weekend! It's the start of a busy week for us as it's Sophie's last week at Primary School and there are lots of celebrations going on...she's got Pizza Hut & a swimming party to look forward to, a leavers BBQ and finally leavers assembly on Friday with a trip to Laser Tag afterwards...I think it's gonna be a tearful week so I'd best stock up on tissues now!

Anyone remember the TV programme 'Stars in Their Eyes?'...where the contestants said...'today Matthew I am going to be'.......haha just playing with you....I'm actually talking about our new challenge at Cupcake and this week is all about STARS...WISH UPON A STAR in fact...we want you to use your images, papers or embellies to reflect stars on your projects! I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge and have gone a bit mad with my stars (incl the gorgeous George) but hopefully the card works and at least its another male card for my box!
