Dare U 2 Digi Stamp WK18...Distressing

It felt great when I woke up this morning and realised it was Friday...I think I must have got a bit befuddled with the days this week as its not like me to fluff up when its a Friday lol!

Here we go with another lubberly jubberly challenge for you over at DU2DS and this week we want to see DISTRESSING on your cards...this means you can use torn/distressed edges...sponged edges...sanding!

I decided to distress the edges on my design papers/cardstock...its quite therapeutic to use the distressing tool after a stressful day at work...my distressing tool is called Pierre lol!

I've used the beautiful 'Holly' on my card and she is a brand new release from Sandra Dry and you can purchase Holly here! Sandra has some amazing digis in her shop so pop over and take a peek! Holly has been coloured in with Promarkers and layered on to SU card stock and I added some glamour dust to the cuffs and collar of her coat! The design papers are a digi download from Mechelle Conrad and the set is called Holly Daze. Ribbons and gems are from craft stash and the snowflakes were created with a punch! Hope you'll be able to come and join us for this weeks challenge...all you need to do is make sure you have a digi image on your creation...have fun and thanks for visiting me today :)

Thanks again for your help.
I have just fed Rocky my Neices Tortoise as he is living with me this week while my Brother takes his Wife and 5 Girls on holiday.

Wow what a great card Donna. Now distressing is something i don't do very well, on a card that is lol.. I always seem to make it look scruffy! Might have to invest in a distressing tool, wonder what i can call mine ;)
