Not Much Crafting Going On!

Afternoon everyone,

I'm popping in to apologise for not being around much recently. Since we got back from Paris I haven't really been in the mood for card making which also means I haven't been blogging much either.

I've managed to catch up with some of you this morning and its been great to see your beautiful creations. I really need to get myself motivated, sort out my craft stash and get crafting even though it seems as though my mojo has currently deserted me.

I haven't been completely idle though, I have recently been inspired by some crochet projects I have seen on Instagram so I purchased some wool from the Wool Warehouse, got me a new hook and this is the granny blanket I've been working on over the last few weeks.

I'd forgotten just how relaxing crochet is and before starting this project I hadn't crocheted for nearly 20 years. It's a bit like riding a bike, you don't forget and all of a sudden the long winter nights ahead seem so much brighter!

This will be a blanket for my daughter Sophie and her brief to me is...MAKE IT BIG! I may be gone sometime and there may not be any cards for a while!

Hi Donna

Isn't it just sooo annoying when the old mojo disappears :-(
At least you have found your crochet mojo!!! Your blanket is absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure that your daughter will love it.
I walked past a crochet magazine the other day - now I might just have to buy it! Hopefully it will be better than my knitting as my tension was always too tight!
I know what you mean about coming back to different crafts as one day I would like to make Saltdough wall plaques again - I used to love that :-)

Hope you have a wonderful weekend and your mojo returns soon!!
Eve xx

Your blanket looks very cosy Donna, lovely colour wools and just the job for those winter nights in front of the telly.
Mr Mojo will return soon enough I'm sure. Take care,
Lorraine
