3 Tier Baby Boy Nappy Cake

Good morning,

I recently mentioned I'd made a nappy cake and today I'm sharing some piccys and details. The couple who this is for know that they are expecting a little boy hence the blue theme to the cake.

I love making these cakes, it's so cool seeing them come together as you build up the layers and although I've included a list of ingredients below, you can add more or less, depending on the budget you have available.

46 x Pampers Nappies
3 x Plastic Soft Tip Spoons
3 x Baby Socks 00 size (0-6 months)
2 x Pair Scratch Mits One Size
2 x Muslin Squares
2 X Baby Hats
1 x Water Filled Teether
1 x Waffle Blanket
1 x Soft Toy
3 x Safety Pins (to secure the blanket and muslins around each layer)
1 x Cake Board
Pull Up Bow and Ribbon to decorate

Nappy cake fully assembled.  At this point I tweak a few ingredients here and there and make sure everything is central to the bow I have added around the base layer.

Close up of the base layer which is crammed with gorgeous goodies for the parents to be.

All wrapped in cellophane and decorated with a pull up bow, ready to be delivered to the Baby Shower.

If you've got this far and not left out of boredom, thank you so much for sticking with me and taking the time to read my post.

Wow Donna what a fabulous gift for the parents to be. Looks fabulous and takes a lot of planning I would imagine to get it arranged in the right place and presented well. You are clever, this must look fabulous as a centre piece at the Baby Shower party.
