My First Nappy Cake

Good morning me lovelies, I hope you are all looking forward to the weekend and I want to wish all the Mum's in the UK a Very Happy Mother's Day for tomorrow! I hope you are all thoroughly spoilt and get lots of lovely crafty treats!

I'm sharing with you today my very first nappy cake. I've always wanted to try one but I've never been brave enough, which on hindsight was silly as it was so easy to put together.  I hope I get the opportunity to make another so that I can fine tune some elements of the cake but it was definitely a lot of fun to make!

These are the ingredients for the nappy cake...they don't look like much at this stage...

This is the cake finished and all wrapped up in cellophane (I really should have take a photo before it was wrapped...duh!)

A close up of the little bunny sitting on top of the cake holding an Avent Bottle (there is a second bottle in the base)

A close up of the base and all the delicious goodies for the new arrival, not to mention 27 nappies!

If you've got this far and not left out of boredom, thank you so much for sticking with me and taking the time to look at my nappy cake.

This looks just lovely Donna. I would love to have received something like this when I had my son....the only trouble is - I wouldn't wanted to have unwrapped it and spoiled the display!!
