Get Well Card

Afternoon all...brrrr...it feels really chilly here today even though the sun has been shining brightly! I'm feeling a lil' bit sad today as I've sold my Cricut Expression and I was having big regrets whilst packing it up ready for despatch! Too late now though it's already winging it's way in a Parcelforce van to its new owner! I have treated myself to a new daylight craft lamp though...hope it arrives soon to cheer me up!

Here's a pretty quick and easy get well card I made...I found this brilliant image over at Karen's Doodles and it's just perfick for those difficult male cards...especially when they are poorly!

I'm entering my card into the following challenges...
Sweet Stampin'...Masculine
St Luke's Charity Cards Challenge...All About The boys
Cards For Men (# 21)...Make Us Laugh

Digital Images : Karen's Doodles (Get Well Soon)

Card Stock : SU! Crumb Cake & Wild Wasabi
Colouring Medium : Promarkers & Smooth White Card
Embellishments : Button & Twine from my Craft Stash

Super card Donna. Love that image - no wonder he's smiling! :)

I wish I could find a buyer for all my Cricut stuff but I've spent far too much to part with it. I know you will love your lamp, it makes all the difference crafting on these darker evenings.

Awww, gorgeous card. Don't feel too bad about your Cricut. I have one sitting here unused for many a year (although not an Expression) but feel bad that I haven't used it in a long time, so maybe would be more loved in a new home. keeleyxx

Oh Donna, this card is perfectly clever! What an adorable image - it looks so heart warming - the perfect get well card. I love these colors! I never would have thought of this scheme but this is amazing - you always make perfect cards. I love your delicate touch. The border piece works so well with the polka dotted paper that I love! Love that blonde hair!!! I hope your new lamp arrives soon...it's always nice to get happy mail! ;-)

Sorry I fell really behind with comments this month as October has been very hectic for me. This is a great get well card for a bloke - should raise a giggle too. Hope you've recovered from the loss of your cricut and are enjoying your new lamp.
Thanks so much for joining us
