I've been observing all the Clean & Simple cards that have been appearing around blogland recently so I thought I'd be adventurous and try my hand at making one. I can categorically tell you now that this style of card is definitely not for me...oh no...it erm...feels...how can I say...kind of naked? Yup that's the word...there I've said it!
Sophie stood guard over my design papers so that I couldn't dip into them...if she hadn't who knows what could/would have been added to this card lol! At least I can say I've tried a CAS card but I don't think there'll be any more on my blog in the near future coz I'm definitely sticking to lots of layers!

I'm with you about the naked look though, I just have to add LOTS of bits & bobs to my cards, can't help myself.

I hear ya sista! :) lol. I am so with you on the CAS style! I love seeing them, they look so classy, but I just cant make them. Even if I try, I end up finishing them off properly at a later date! lol
You have really pulled this off brilliantly though, great little images, and just the perfect finishing touch with the ribbon and pearl buckle. It really looks fab.

I can't do it either - it takes me ages to do a CAS & I just end up feeling frustrated & stifled & the bin is full of failed attempts. Naked is the word - I've also decided that I'm not going there. One Layer just does not compute with me.
