The Creative Cottage Challenge 23...Birthday Boy


Morning ladies...I hope everyone has had a good start to the week...unfortunately we have had lots of rain here! Our majorettes had a fantastic time in Yarmouth...it was a very long tiring weekend but boy did they do well...they came home with a big haul of trophies of medals...I'll try to post a few piccy's towards the end of the week for anyone who is interested!

Here is my card for this fortnights Creative Cottage challenge...the theme is BIRTHDAY BOY and this is a great opportunity to get a male themed card created...the DT girls have done a great job so pop over and take a peek at their cards! Donna, you know, you always make these luscious cards that are so perfect! How do you do it?! The sentiment in blocks like that is so clever and the image - love your blending - it is so smooth! I love the brads with polka dotted paper (and of course the gingham). I think polka dot and gingham are my favorite combinations! Rain already? Hmmm...I love the rain but only to sit and watch it - not drive in it. Glad the girls did good with their competition - can't wait to see the pics! ;-)

oh, here's my fav digi man, Jim! I just adore him and this is such a darling card! Again, fantastic coloring and the sentiment is perfect!!

You mention rain in your post, we are still lacking in that department. We had a little water fall from the sky on Wed, but not enough to help this awful drought in our area! Poor Jim would have not be mowing here with our crunchy brown grass! lol
