A card for a Friend

Good morning everyone...hope you are all having a good week so far...weather here been rubbish...rain...rain and yet more rain! I'm off to Norfolk tomorrow with Sophie...she has a baton twirling competition that is over the whole weekend...fingers crossed we get some dry weather so we can get out and about in the evenings!

I've made this card for a colleague at work...she and her family are on holiday in Turkey and her Dad passed away on Sunday...so sad and totally unexpected...I just wanted to send her a little card so that she knows I am thinking about her.

I am entering this card into the following challenges...

Design Papers : Basic Grey
Colouring Medium : Promarkers
Card Stock : SU! Nearly Navy

Just beautiful Donna. You have to teach me to use sheer ribbon - I have so much of it but never use it! I will have to try it again!

A perfectly colored image - love the flowers - it seems so perfect for the occasion, though sad it is. Perhaps will make your friend warm and fuzzy knowing you thought of her. The background paper is luscious - and the lace and organza ribbon is ever so elegant, Donna. Yes, here's hoping for dry weather for the competition - y'all have fun! ;-)
