The Creative Cottage Challenge 20...Acetate

Good morning everyone...hope your week is going well and that for you Mum's at home looking after the kiddywinks on school hols...that you are managing to fit some crafting in...I haven't done any this week as I have been working...not fair!

I stitched myself up when it was my turn to chose the theme for this weeks Creative Cottage challenge...I chose ACETATE and thought that's easy...I've done this before and it worked out OK!...back then I didn't try to punch acetate snowflakes with my Martha Stewart punch...not a good idea and I would recommend you do not try this at home! Well not unless you are using the correct acetate and not industrial strength acetate like me!

I gave up the snowflake idea and decided on an acetate aperture...this card doesn't look too complicated but it took me flipping ages to put it together and I almost gave up whilst trying to work out how to punch the corners on the fold of the card! I got there in the end though and I'm quite pleased with the end result! My teamies have created some incredibly fab designs this week so please pop over and give them some love...I think they might need it after I put them through the acetate challenge lol!

Morning Donna,
I know what you mean about stitching yourself up, been there done that myself...lol
Love this cutie card, those Robins are so tweet...

I have a sad story about one that my very naughty cat left me as a gift in the dinningroom the other day, I know its in their nature and we have been brought lot's of other pesky birds but it makes me sad to see them bring home beautiful creatures like this.

Hope your keeping well
