James 16th Birthday Card

Hapy Crunchie Friday everyone...the sun is shining here again today...it's a wee bit windy but the washing is drying well on the line lol!

I just wanted to share with you the birthday card that I made for James from me and hubby...this image suits him perfectly as he's always on his Xbox and snacking on junk food at the same time...as soon as I saw this image I had to buy it and I think it will get lots of use for up and coming teenage birthdays this year!

Thank you to everyone who has left me such encouraging comments this week...I feel like I am gradually getting back into my crafting and my neglected stash is getting some use after several weeks of gathering dust...I guess it will be a good excuse to buy some more now that I feel like craft shopping again lol!

Digi Image : Mo's Digital Pencil (Video Boy)
Design Papers : Sweet Shoppe Designs (My Man)
Nearly Navy Card Stock : SU!
Colouring Medium : Promarkers
Tools : Quickutz Corner Die-Cut & SU! Scalloped Border Punch
Sentiment : Created on the PC... The word 'Son' stamped using square alphabet stamps

Donna, this is a great card - I just know your son will enjoy it. I love the papers and distressing; as well as that fabulous coloring of the image; a great image, by the way! I love the lace and the dots - it works so well! I'm glad you're back and able to get some crafting done - look at you, already hanging laundry out on the line to dry! :-) I love the smell of the fresh air on clothes drying on the line! Lovely! Have a super great weekend!
