Good morning to you all...it's nice to have had a lie-in this morning and lounge around a bit in my PJ's...I think we are in for more rain today and my heart goes out to all the families who have been affected by the floods here in the UK...it's a really horrendous time for them and I hope they get some relief from the weather soon!
Saturday brings a new challenge over at the Secret Crafter Challenge blog...my fab DT buddy Jill has chosen this weeks theme which is to make a CALENDAR! I had every intention of making a calendar that would rest in a CD case...but who would have thought that two little squares of plastic would cause one crafter so much stress and anxiety lol! I think I broke 4 CD cases before I gave up and decided to make it a free standing calendar instead lol! That said I really enjoyed making this calendar and can definitely see me making some more for the New Year!
I hope you'll come and join in this weeks challenge...if you are stuck for ideas...there's oodles of inspiration from the DT over on the challenge blog and if anyone has any tips on how to make a CD case fold back on itself to make a stand...answers on a postcard please lol!

This is a wonderfully happy calendar! Pretty colors and flower! I'm glad for this challenge as I need to make one! I have to find a source for the bitty calendars, I have some from last year but don't know where they came from! lol
