Cupcake Craft Challenge # 58...Distressing

Well good morning everyone, here we are...Monday again...although it looks like I won't be going to work today...my eldest (James) has been poorly over the weekend and I'm pretty certain he has got Pig Flu...he was running a temperature of 104 last night and we were a bit worried that's for sure! I'm off out to the chemist this morning to see what else I can give him...have heard terrible things about the Tamiflu and only want to give it to him as a last resort...fingers crossed he is over the worst now!

On to today's challenge card which is for the Cupcake Craft Challenge blog...this weeks theme is DISTRESSING...and I have to tell you that I was the one that was distressed after making it lol! Nothing went right with this card and I'm not at all impressed with 'Pierre' my distressing gadget...he may have to be sent to Amiens in France where all the naughty French people are lol!

The image is the gorgeous Milly...a digi download from the the Digi Stamp Boutique...she has been coloured with Promarkers and and mounted on some red SU! cardstock that has been cut with a nestie! The design papers are from a freebie CD I got with a magazine and the ribbon and lace are from my craft stash! I couldn't find any suitable flowers for this card so ended up colouring some white ones with my PM's. I've added some tiny little gems in the top right hand corner....you'd have to click the pic for a bigger view to see them lol!

So there you have it, if you want to get DISTRESSED this week, come on over and play with us at Cupcake Crafts lol!

Lovely card Donna, those Milly images are just so gorgeous!

Hope James is better soon, and it's not the old piggie-flu, I'm with you on the Tamiflu too, wouldn't get it unless absolutely necessary, especially for youngsters.

Take care

Donna I love this card - it really makes me feel SOOO Christmassey! I love the distressed edges of your papers too - I need a tool thingy I think - when I try to do it I just rip the paper and that makes me have palpitations!!

Hope James is okay too by the way. I had a flu-like illness a few weeks ago and although it was hideous for a couple of days it wasn't as bad as I though it was going to be! Hope he get's over it soon.

Hugs,
