Friday Sketchers # 62

Morning all, weather looking OK here today and quite warm too! We decided to go to Crafts-U-Love yesterday for their 3rd birthday celebrations...however what should have been a 25 minute drive from our house to the Dartford crossing took 2 hours and 15 minutes by which time the kids were getting really fed up so we ended up detouring and going to Hever castle instead...Hever is the childhood home of Anne Boleyn and I must say there was lots to do and see including medieval jousting and a water maze...would thoroughly recommend it for all ages!

Today's card is for Friday Sketchers...a brilliant sketch this week and I throughly enjoyed using it...I've done this card A5 as it is a commission for a lady at work and she specifically requested this size. I've used a digi image which has been created by Louise Brigden and this image is from a collection called Sporty George he has been coloured with promarkers and mounted onto some blue and brown SU card stock! Design papers are a digi download from Shabby Princess called 'Blueberry Cobbler.' The sentiment was created on the computer and placed on the paper before printing and the brads, rub-on stitching and button are from my craft stash! TFL :)

Great man's card Donna, I really like the way you print the sentiment directly onto the paper, I must give that a try, it looks really good!

All the best

This is great Donna,I love the colours in the papers. I don't like doing Man cards much as I feel a bit restricted.Plus I much rather buy Girly products.

Hi Donna, such a great card and George looks great in all the golfing gear! Gorgeous papers too, perfect for the image. Well seems we were destined not to meet again :(, I did pop over the CUL yesterday and saw the two Kim's which was really lovely.....one of these days :). I should think the kiddo's enjoyed Hever Castle more, sounds like you had a good time. Hugs, Chris xx
