Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge # 41...Meets Sophie

It doesn't half know how to rain in this country lol! One minute I am out in the garden enjoying all the pretty fuchsias and hydrangeas that are in full bloom...next minute I'm taking refuge in the shed until it stops...most bizarre lol!

So, just in case its raining where you are and you've decided to spend the day inside crafting...why not join in this weeks SCSC with a fantastic theme this week of STRIPES & SPOTS which has been set by my DT buddy Gina! These have to be my two most favourite types of patterned papers so thanks Gina for such a great challenge this week!

I have been bubbling over with excitement this morning as I get to show you one of the lastest digi stamp releases from Sally-Ann at the Digi Stamp Boutique...she has created this adorable little girl and she is extra special to me because she has been named after my own gorgeous little girl SOPHIE...isn't she just a darling...she reminds me so much of Sophie right down to the stripey tights and the high heels...it's an ongoing joke in our family that every time Sophie goes out shopping she comes back with another pair of clip-clop shoes and she would definitely love the pair in this image lol! I've part paper-pieced Sophie and part coloured with PM's and the design papers on this card are from Sweet Shoppe Designs ...the kit is called Sugar & Spice! The green card stock is SU and the sentiment is a Bo-Bunny rub-on...the organza ribbon and little heart buttons are from my craft stash! I hope you'll pop over and join us for this week's challenge, we really look forward to seeing all your lubberly jubberly creations :) TFL!

Absolutely adorable card Donna! That little girl is so gorgeous, I think she's going to be a fave! The paper piecing is wonderful and I really love the Sweete Shoppe papers and how you coloured her, your shading is superb! You made me laugh about Sophie's shoes but I think it's lovely that she now has this little cutie named after her. A sweet girl for a sweet girl. Hugs Chris xxx
