Good morning everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the start of the weekend and I hope you all have a great day whatever you may be doing!We have a new challenge for you today over at the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge blog...we would like to see you use 3 RIBBONS on your projects this week...we all love our ribbons so this should be a very popular challenge...go on what you waiting for go get your ribbons out lol!
I've used a new digi stamp on my card from the Digi Stamp Boutique and this rather sweet little mermaid is called Marissa...isn't she just adorable? I have coloured her with promarkers, distressed the edges of the image and mounted onto some yellow SU card stock which has also been distressed and inked around the edges. The design papers are from a DCWV paper stack and I had a happy accident with a Martha Stewart border punch...I got in a right pickle lining up the curves in the punch but then kind of rather liked the tatty effect and decided to use it as the waves on the sea lol! I've added some glamour dust to my little mermaid and used some small heart buttons from my stash for the embellies. The ribbons come in the form of two at the bottom of the card and the third one being the little bow on her body...ahhhh she is so sweet!
