It feels great to be back crafting again after such a busy few days and last night I made this card for this weeks Sketch Saturday....I absolutely loved using this sketch and it was the perfect layout to showcase the gorgeous Ruby....she is the latest release from the Digi Stamp Boutique and I just love her little crown and fairy wand lol! Ruby has been coloured in with PM's and mounted onto a circular scalloped nestie and I have added some glamour dust to her wings, wand and crown. The design papers are K&Co Sparkly Sweet and I used my new Fiskars border punch for the patterned edge. Lace, ribbon and gems from my craft box and the flowers were created with an X-Cut flower punch. TFL :)

Oh, Ruby is sweet and I'm lovin' the sparkle! You have such an eye for coordinating papers. I have those same papers and probably wouldn't have known to put them together....I will now! Apparently I not only have issues with buttons but with matching paper...I do so much better with paperpacks! lol Blessings, Maria Oh, and I love your birthday widget that now reads "countdown complete"! I have always enjoyed having a hobby and in recent years I have knitted, cross-stitched and done a bit of sewing but cardmaking took over when I went on a beginners course in 2005. I also enjoy crocheting...nothing too fancy, mainly granny squares and baby blankets. I have a real soft spot for digi images and paper downloads especially gingham, stripes and polka dots.
