Just a quickie post today as its Sophie's birthday and I promised I wouldn't be on here long lol!It's time for another Cupcake Craft Challenge and this week Lauren is challenging us all to make a card with only ONE LAYER on it!!!!! Here is her brief: I want you to make a one layer card. You can use as many embellishments on your card as you want but only one piece of paper (not including the base). So get out your stamps and paper and I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
After I'd got over the shock of only being allowed one layer I decided to use a shaped card to make the design a bit more interesting. This scalloped card was cut on my Cricut using the Wildcart cart and I've used some SU paper for the one layer behind my image and the image is the gorgeous and scrummy Rosie digi stamp from Grab-A-Doodle Do and she has been coloured in with PM's. I've embellished my card with some gingham ribbon, gems and the flowers were punched using a small X-Cut punch. I did the circular sentiment on the PC. I hope you will be able to join us over on the challenge blog this week, I look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with! TFL :)
