A4 18th Birthday Card

This card had me tearing my hair out last night! I was asked by a lady at work if I could make an 18th birthday card for her son's girlfriend for Thursday!

The brief: I
t Must be A4, It Must be girly, It Must have 'girlfriend' and '18' on it!

It took me ages to come up with a layout, I find square cards much easier than portrait cards and I really struggled with this one. I used my hammer and eyelet tool to punch the holes down the long side of the card and secured the two sheets of card together using pink, blue and white ribbon. Anyhoo, I got there in the end and this is what I used in the process: Blue & Pink backing papers from a kit called Gisella by ValGouveia, image is a PP image called Lola Rose which was coloured in PSP and matted and layered on pink bazill card from my stash. I also used some glamour dust just to give Lola a bit of glitz! I've used my ever faithful PC to create the sentiment and the number 18 was cut on the Cricut. Flowers and spotty brad from my craft stash.

Phew, glad this one is done now!

Fantastic card and fits the bill perfectly. Great girly colours. Don't envy you having to do an A4 card - I wouldn't know where to start with all that space to fill!
