18th Birthday Card


Good morning,

I hope everyone is well and that you are all looking forward to the weekend!

I'm sharing an 18th birthday card I made recently for a friend of my daughter's. I've attempted a card that doesn't have a digital image as I haven't felt much like colouring in with my Promarkers recently. It kind of turned out OK but all the white space is kind of freaking me out!

Design Papers: Bella Gypsy (Contagious cheer)
Embellishments: Ribbon, Button and Pearls from my craft stash
Tools: Circular Punch, Sizzix Circular Scalloped Die and Poppystamps (Simple Banner Die)
Sentiment: Number 18 created on the computer using 'Berlin Sans FB' font

    I do know what you mean about not wanting to colour an image though - I go through those phases!

    This is lovely but I know what you mean about the white space, I have the same feeling when I'm attempting a CAS card. Pretty papers and a gorgeous ribbon band.

    Love this! The wonky panels, the patterns, even the white space! (I agree that white space makes me itchy! LOL!) This is a gorgeous CAS card!

    Hi Donna, it turned out beautiful! Love the pretty, fun colours and papers. Thanks for the link to the papers, I've bought quite a few after visiting you, you always find the prettiest ones.

    It's fabulous Donna and white space adds elegance which it certainly has done with your card. Perfect for the occassion. hope your ok and weather not too bad where you are-so much rain up here in the north
