Beware of a Semi-Naked Tom Daley!

Good morning me lovelies, the spring weather has been fab so far this week and I'm hoping it will last long into the weekend.  Hope you're all making the most of it too!  It'll soon be time to buy some bedding plants....YAY, colour in the garden at last!

My gorgeous daughter turned 13 at the weekend and when I asked her a few weeks ago what she would like on her card this year, without hesitation she said Tom Daley. I had to sneak into her bedroom and 'borrow' one of her photos to scan in and I printed it on hammered card so it had a bit of texture to it.

Needless to say she was delighted with the card and I was 'happy' that I managed to make a red, white & blue colour scheme look a bit girly. Job done! I also 'borrowed' the inspiration for the style this card from Lisa over at Wishcraft...thank you Lisa!

  6. Hi Donna, Oh this is FAB! I love the card design ... I might also have to borrow this idea for Chloe's card! She will also be 13 in a few weeks! I'm not making cards at the moment but did promise I would make her birthday card.

Hope Sophie had a great birthday.

  14. Gorgeous papers, Donna and love how you coordinated them with that luscious gingham ribbon. I daresay your daughter thinks the young man is a description of that adjective - LOL! 13! How fun is that? So cool of you to be so creative all the time and be a fabulous Mom! Planting time, eh? I wish I had a garden. I'd love to sit in it and enjoy the cool breeze in spring like Mrs. A. does. Take care and thanks for sharing such wonderful work! ;-)
